Classroom 360is dynamic and intensive 5 day training in the use of research based strategies to address the critical areas of instruction for students with autism.Participants will gain knowledge to assist in providing quality services to their students and receive a wide range of teaching materials to support their work in their classrooms.The 360 trainers bring a multitude of years of training and experience in the areas of ABA, Structured Teaching, Communication, Positive Behavior Supports, and in the use of technology to enhance student learning.The focus of Classroom 360 training is to address the needs of students with moderate to severe autism receiving instruction in elementary classrooms.

Make and Take It Visual Teaching Activities Workshop
This workshop is a day long conference with speakers who offer a variety of teaching strategies to teach academic and functional skills. Participants will learn about visual structure and creating tasks that promote independence. A variety of areas will be covered so that teachers have the opportunity to see how the concepts can be used throughout their day and curriculum. Let Me See Reading
This one day training covers the essential components of a structured reading program with information specific to students with autism and other developmental disabilities. Participants have the opportunity to interact with a variety of materials that can enhance reading instruction. There is also a make and take component that allows teachers to leave with materials to use the next day with their students.
Let Me See Math A one day training that covers how to introduce math concepts and promote learning for students with autism and related disabilities. This training looks at the variety of skills addressed in elementary math. Teachers will be shown how to adapt current materials as well as how to create original materials related to math. Participants will make items to take back and use with students right away.
Structured Teaching This one day training covers the key classroom elements as modeled in TEACCH. Participants learn about the use of visual schedules, work systems and visual structure. Videos of actual classrooms assist in demonstrating the concepts. Teachers have the opportunity to prepare a basic schedule and examples of work systems.
Introduction to Autism This half day training covers basic information related to autism. Participants will leave with an understanding of the characteristics of the disability as well as information related to the education of these individuals. This training is most helpful to individuals new to the field.
Classroom Set-up A one day training that systematically walks teachers through how to set up their classroom according to the needs of their students. Participants will be shown a variety of possibilities in room arrangement. They will learn how to decide on the type of visual schedule and work system to use. Teachers leave with a Classroom Set-up form that can be used each school year to make decisions about what is needed in their classroom for their students.
Creative Things to Make with Boardmaker This hands-on training teaches participants how to get the most out of a great computer program. Lots of examples of things to make will be shown. Teachers will be carefully taken through the many aspects of Boardmaker. They will leave ready to make creative materials for their classroom
